General Questions

What is Rezzy?

Rezzy is a UK-based platform that connects performers (DJs, bands, comedians, etc.) with venues looking to book entertainment. It's free to use for both performers and venue managers.

How much does Rezzy cost?

Rezzy is completely free to use. There are no subscription fees, booking fees, or hidden charges.

Is Rezzy only for the UK?

Yes, Rezzy is currently focused on the UK entertainment scene. We use British spelling and UK currency (£) throughout the platform.

Can I use Rezzy on my phone?

Yes! Rezzy is fully mobile-responsive and works great on smartphones and tablets. We don't have native apps yet, but the web version works perfectly in your mobile browser.

For Performers

Can I change my @username handle?

No, once you've chosen your handle, it cannot be changed. Choose carefully as this becomes your permanent rezzy.one/@username URL.

What types of performers can use Rezzy?

Rezzy supports:

  • DJs (all genres)
  • Bands (all styles)
  • Solo artists
  • Comedians
  • Spoken word artists
  • Any other live performers

How do I get more bookings?

  • Complete your profile 100%
  • Use high-quality photos
  • Apply to events that match your style
  • Respond quickly to invitations
  • Build relationships with venues
  • Keep your availability updated

Can venues see my rates?

No, rates and fees are not displayed publicly. You can note them for your own reference, but pricing discussions happen directly with venues.

What happens when I apply to an event?

Your profile is sent to the venue manager, who reviews all applications and selects performers. You'll be notified whether you're accepted or declined.

Can I perform at multiple venues?

Absolutely! You can apply to and perform at as many venues as you like. There are no exclusivity requirements on Rezzy.

For Venue Managers

Can I manage multiple venues?

Yes, you can create and manage multiple venues from one account. Each venue has its own profile and events.

How do I add other managers to my venue?

  1. Go to your venue settings
  2. Click "Add Manager"
  3. Enter their email address
  4. They'll receive an invitation to join

Can I create recurring events?

Currently, you need to create each event individually. However, you can create multiple similar events for recurring nights.

How many performers can I book for one event?

There's no limit! You can invite and book as many performers as your event requires.

What if a performer cancels?

Performers can decline invitations or cancel bookings. You'll be notified immediately so you can find a replacement.

Account & Profile

Can I be both a performer and venue manager?

Yes! During onboarding, select "I'm both" and you'll have access to all features for both performers and venues.

How do I delete my account?

Contact support through our Discord server or email [email protected] to request account deletion.

Can I make my profile private?

Performer profiles are visible to venues by default. You can control whether your profile is publicly accessible via your unique URL.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and follow the instructions to reset it via email.

Technical Issues

The site isn't loading properly

Try these steps:

  1. Clear your browser cache
  2. Try a different browser
  3. Check your internet connection
  4. Disable browser extensions
  5. Contact support if issues persist

I'm not receiving email notifications

  1. Check your spam/junk folder
  2. Add [email protected] to your contacts
  3. Verify your notification settings in your profile
  4. Contact support if emails still aren't arriving

Can I upload video to my profile?

Currently, Rezzy supports image uploads only. You can link to videos on YouTube, Vimeo, or other platforms through your social links.

Bookings & Events

How far in advance can I create events?

You can create events as far in advance as you like. We recommend 2-4 weeks notice to give performers time to apply.

Can I message performers/venues directly?

Direct messaging is coming in our next update! For now, communication happens through booking invitations and acceptances.

What if there's a dispute about a booking?

Contact our support team through Discord and we'll help resolve any issues.

Are bookings legally binding?

Rezzy facilitates connections between performers and venues. Any contracts or agreements should be handled directly between parties.

Privacy & Safety

Is my data secure?

Yes, we use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Can I report inappropriate behaviour?

Yes, please report any issues to our support team immediately through Discord or email.

Who can see my contact information?

Your email and phone number are never publicly visible. Only venues you've confirmed bookings with can see your contact details.

Future Features

Will you add payment processing?

Payment integration is on our roadmap! For now, payments are handled directly between performers and venues.

When will messaging be available?

Direct messaging between performers and venues is our next major feature, coming soon!

Will there be a mobile app?

Native iOS and Android apps are planned for the future. The web version is fully mobile-optimised in the meantime.
