Quick Start for Performers

Get your artist profile up and running in just a few minutes. This guide will walk you through signing up, creating your profile, and landing your first gig on Rezzy.

Step 1: Sign Up​

  1. Go to rezzy.one
  2. Click the "Sign Up" tab
  3. Enter your email and create a password
  4. Click "Sign Up" to create your account
  5. Check your email for a verification link (if required)

Step 2: Complete Onboarding​

After signing up, you'll be taken through our onboarding process:

Choose Your Path​

You'll see three options:

  • I'm a performer - Select this if you're an artist looking for gigs
  • I'm a venue manager - For venue owners/managers
  • I'm both - If you perform AND manage venues

Select "I'm a performer" to continue.

Create Your Artist Profile​

  1. Stage Name: Enter the name you perform under
  2. Unique Handle: Choose your @username (this becomes your rezzy.one/@username URL)
    • Must be unique
    • Can only contain letters, numbers, and underscores
    • Cannot be changed later, so choose carefully!
  3. Bio: Write a compelling description of yourself and your act
    • What makes you unique?
    • What's your style/vibe?
    • Any notable achievements?
  4. Genres/Styles: Select all that apply to your performances

Set Notifications​

Choose how you want to be notified about:

  • New event invitations
  • Booking confirmations
  • Messages from venues

Step 3: Enhance Your Profile​

Once you've completed onboarding, visit your dashboard to add:

Photos​

  • Add profile and cover photos
  • Upload performance shots
  • Show your setup/equipment
  • Include crowd shots from previous gigs

Additional Details​

  • Social media links
  • Website/portfolio
  • Performance requirements
  • Available dates

Step 4: Find Your First Gig​

Browse Events​

  1. Click "Apply to Events" from your dashboard
  2. Browse upcoming events at various venues
  3. Filter by date, location, or type
  4. Click on events to see full details

Apply to Events​

  1. Find an event that matches your style
  2. Click "Apply to Event"
  3. Your profile will be sent to the venue manager
  4. Wait for a response (you'll be notified)

Respond to Invitations​

Venues can also invite you directly:

  1. Check your dashboard for invitations
  2. Review the event details
  3. Click "Accept" or "Decline"
  4. Accepted gigs appear in your calendar

Step 5: Manage Your Bookings​

Calendar View​

  • See all your upcoming gigs in one place
  • View event details and venue information
  • Add to your personal calendar

Stay Organised​

  • Set reminders for upcoming performances
  • Communicate with venues (messaging coming soon!)
  • Update your availability

Pro Tips​

  • Complete Your Profile: Venues are more likely to book artists with complete profiles
  • Use Quality Photos: First impressions matter - use professional shots if possible
  • Be Responsive: Quick responses to invitations increase your booking rate
  • Keep Your Calendar Updated: Mark dates you're unavailable to avoid conflicts
  • Share Your Profile: Use your rezzy.one/@username link on social media
